Greetings! Throughout my career, I have always considered myself a lifelong learner and a creative, persistent problem solver. From an early age, I was fascinated by the potential of science and technology to tackle complex challenges, and that fascination has led me down some exciting paths.I kicked off my tech journey by participating in a national-level coding competition and was fortunate enough to come away with a small prize. Later, I went on to get a degree in Chemical Engineering which married my love for physics, chemistry, math and programming. I have enhanced a computational algorithm that tunes an intelligent adaptive PID controller to optimize refinery process and also written an application for a major oil and gas company to automatically classify the impact of incidents.After that, I ventured into biomedical research and developed statistical and AI methods to identify biomarkers that predict cancer risk and outcomes. I filed three patent disclosures, and published over 18 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals. My research has been featured in press releases, and I've presented at international conferences and won awards for my work.I also had the opportunity to work with a key government organization to help them digitalize their HR processes and develop HR analytical capabilities. I deployed AI and simulation models for various manpower-related studies.Currently, I'm leading a team that develops analytics capabilities for a professional service firm. We help the firm and our clients analyze data, solve operational challenges, and save time through data science, AI, automation, and other technological solutions. Our work has generated valuable insights and significant time-savings.On the side, I speak and conduct workshops to businesses on how analytics can benefit their companies. I have also supported national public events with the deployment of technological solutions. Oh, and I'm now a CISA! I've helped more than 15 organizations identify their IT risk areas.As someone who has benefited from great mentors, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Over the years, I have taken on mentees from various backgrounds, providing guidance on navigating the tech space and creating a supportive environment for them to ask questions and seek guidance.Phew, that's a mouthful!
