As Director at P4BA i manage a great architectural team specialising in the design of bespoke new build and change of use conversion of residential housing for all community members; Private Housing, Affordable Housing, Social Housing, Supported Living, Assisted Living and Residential Care.We have significant experience and expertise in the design of bespoke private housing, mixed use apartments, houses in multiple occupancy (HMO) and community care schemes providing accommodation for vulnerable people including young single mothers, homeless, domestic violence, Adults with learning/ physical disabilities, mental health problems, delayed discharge relocation and more.We work closely with private clients, investors, developers, contractors, local authorities, specialist providers and charities to create design solutions tailored to each individuals or associations requirements.We offer project appraisals free of charge to allow both ourselves and any potential client to understand a proposals key requirements, constraints and feasibility prior to commitment as a team. Once instructed we work closely with clients to understand the future occupants who will be living in the residential development. We then stay as the clients close consultant throughout the design journey, guiding them through each stage of feasibility, concept design, planning applications, technical design, building regulation applications, contractor tenders, construction and finally completion.

In my capacity as Director at JMI I am principally focused on property acquisition, investment and development with the goal of creating homes in England to improve the worsening housing shortage. JMI was born from the idea to not only develop new homes but create homes that suit the needs of the people that will live in them. There can be a multitude of factors to consider when the requirement for a development is identified in any given location. A ‘one size fits all approach’ can lead to the creation of homes which are not fit for purpose. We are proud of our continued involvement in many projects which have led to the creation of homes for the more vulnerable people in our society.Working alongside Architectural Consultancy P4BA, we believe in approaching each development individually to correctly capture the requirements for each home. This is achieved by adopting a fully collaborative design process with housing, care and support providers. The result is the creation of homes designed and developed to meet the specific needs of the people who will come to know these places as home. Our intercompany relationship with P4BA brings design services in-house forging a holistic approach to the design and development of each home and allowing us to identify and unlock the potential in both land and properties to create much needed homes.At JMI we have the team and resources to source and purchase suitable land and buildings, and in conjunction with P4BA we will work with housing providers to create the right homes for people.
