Direct oversight and responsibility of all operational information management systems and protocol, for a 310,000 sq.ft.IT/IS Logistics Distribution Center, and back up to the desktop support team for the Latin America Sales corporate office in Miami. ▪ Team Lead responsibilities to the U.S. Field Support Team, who are respectively responsible for all IT, Network, Voice, and desktop support activities locally at each respective Logistics Center. Coordinate and conduct bi-weekly staff meetings. Assist with the approval and planning of employee hours. ▪ Manage and submit Purchase Requests related to the Field support team. Work closely with management in budget and purchasing planning,▪ Situation Manager for after hours escalation support for all Logistics centers. First point of contact for Field Support escalations during both business and after hours. And level 3 escalation contact for our support for field support staff, providing support or escalation for day to day and outage level problems.Directly responsible for the operational performance of the network and server infrastructure, telecommunication systems, radio frequency distribution management system, end user systems and network appliances.

Support includes systems such as Windows based PC clients (XP, Win 7, Win 10, 2000 pro, 2003 server), Citrix based thin clients, VMware implementations, Zoom software and video conference hardware configuration, Cisco infrastructure equipment, PBX hardware, Motorola wireless RDT/mobile scanners, network DVR/NDR and supporting peripherals, print servers, and other proprietary network ready devices used by our company.▪ Responsible for the delivery of projects which may include planning, installation, pre/post delivery support of new systems and infrastructures implementations. Also the coordination of such projects with other departments such as loss prevention, engineering, local and executive management.▪ Testing and implementing beta projects. Provide our corporate office with reports on results of such projects for evaluation for future implementation.▪ Received awards on 2006 for employee of the month for the US IT division, and employee of the quarter (2nd quarter) for the entire US Tech Data division.

Worked under EDS under the support contract (IT outsourced) of American Airlines and US Airways, supporting all airports in the North East region of the US. Support activity included but not limited to Desktop, server, account setup, network telecomm, and admin. Worked as part of a team responsible for the support of all project deliveries and installs. Handled tier 2 and 3 support for all the NE region as part of a support team based out of the Eastern Reservations Office of American Airlines in New England.
