I am a computational biologist with a passion to use data and statistics to find answers for biological questions. I am passionate about building products for biologists to accelerate their research by leveraging state-of-the art methods for large omics data.Some of the projects in my career include the following: - I have supported the development of single-cell products within the CELLxGENE suite (https://cellxgene.cziscience.com). As a PM I have launched products actively used by biologists, and as computational biologist I have contributed to algorithm development and scientific validation of new and existing features.- In my PhD I pioneered the development of computational methods and techniques that leverage public genomic data to understand the somatic mutation landscape in the human healthy body. In this project I processed and analyzed around 10,000 sequencing samples originated from more than 500 people. García-Nieto PE et al.
