CurrentBryan has 23 years of experience in the design and construction of various projects at commercial service and general aviation airports. For the last 10 years Bryan has managed the Minnesota aviation engineering group, helping the group grow and expand. Bryan has experience assisting airports with federal grant application procedures and administration and capital improvement programming. He takes a hands-on approach to managing design and construction teams and champions open communication between the team and stakeholders. Bryan has successfully managed several award-winning projects in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Montana. Bryan’s responsibilities also include serving as a contract officer for Mead & Hunt, which involves scope and fee development and negotiations, risk assessment, and execution of aviation-related contracts.As project manager, Bryan’s responsibilities included managing project design teams, pavement inspections, construction inspection teams, supervision of survey crews, and materials testing. He is knowledgeable of state departments of transportation and Federal Aviation Administration construction requirements and air carrier construction safety and security issues. Bryan years of diverse experience includes the coordination, design, specification preparation, project management, and construction supervision of numerous projects at various air carrier and general aviation facilities. He is experienced in the design and construction of various facilities such as runways, taxiways, terminal area development, aircraft holding bays, hangar areas, storm water retention areas, aprons and access roads. He has also been responsible for inspecting installation of various airfield lighting and signing systems including in-pavement lighting, base and stake mounted lights, airfield guidance signs, and miscellaneous NAVAID facilities. Bryan also has experience in FAA airport radio operation and communication.
