Pam Lee has been with the Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation for more than twenty years. She began her career as the Curator of the Mission Inn in Riverside in 1982 where she organized and completed the very first inventory of their collections and implemented conservation of paintings and sculptures. Lee was one of the first employees hired by the newly formed Rancho Los Alamitos Foundation in 1986. She played a vital role in the Master Planning process as well as the early development of the site’s public programming. Lee was recruited away from the Rancho in 1995 and became the Director of Creative Resources at Walt Disney Imagineering. She worked there for six years before assuming the Chief Curator position at the California Historical Society in San Francisco. Lee rejoined the Rancho in January of 2005 as Site Curator and then became the Associate Director. Lee became the Executive Director position at Rancho Los Alamitos in 2018. Lee is a California native and holds degrees in economics, American history, and cultural resources management from the University of California, Riverside.
