Women’s Audio Mission (WAM) is dedicated to the advancement of women in media production and the recording arts, a field whose female representation is alarmingly under 5%. WAM's efforts focus on making long-term changes in the lives of women and girls all over the Bay Area by introducing them to futures they would otherwise not have considered or thought available to them.WAM addresses two critical and linked issues:• 1. The alarming 70% decline in young women enrolling in college STEM programs - since 2000.• 2. Less than 5% of the people creating and shaping all of the sounds, messages and media in our lives are women.WAM has placed almost 750 young women in jobs at Google, Pixar, Pandora, Dolby Labs, Skywalker Studio and other companies in the past 15 years

As Project Manager, my responsibilities are to plan, execute and close various projects including trademarks, protecting intellectual property, coordinating special events and boosting merchandise sales. I also assist with marketing and branding strategies. Primary duties are evaluating and treating pediatric outpatients with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to developmental delay, torticollis, plagiocephaly, toe walking, ASD, cerebral palsy and genetic conditions. Team member of the High Risk Infant Clinic evaluating and making recommendations for neonatal graduates from 6 months to 3 years old. Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Rounds in the NICU and evaluate and treat premature infants in the NICU. Work closely with the medical staff making positioning recommendations and teaching a preemie handling class involving parents and family members with their infant’s care. Routinely make recommendations to refer to other medical consultants and outside services.

Armed with a Super-8 camera and little else, Anthony Ferraro (Astronauts, etc.) & Chaz Bear (Toro y Moi) got lost in Paris and emerged with the impressionistic short film, "Pamela". Taking place after a presumed separation from a new amoureuse, the film explores the mania of being a lovelorn outsider in the old world’s most bewitching city. Featured on the soundtrack are Ferraro’s ambient score and the premiere single from Tony Peppers, written and recorded by Ferraro and Bear.

Developed and implemented a new physical therapy program in the NICU to expand their rehab team. Emphasis was on early intervention and developmentally supportive care, which evidence-based research has shown to improve outcomes of neonatal graduates in the areas of cognitive, neuromotor and social-emotional development. Duties included evaluations on admission for positioning needs as well as family and caretaker education and instruction. When babies were stable, formal evaluations were done to evaluate muscle tone, range of motion, strength, reflexes, posture, movement patterns, development, state control and state transitions. Treatment was carried out to prevent postural deformities, improve state control and transitions, prevent contractures, normalize tone and to promote normal motor development. Recommendations and referrals were made to others on the medical team and to outside agencies. Besides premature infants, other diagnoses seen in the NICU were Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), various orthopedic diagnoses, genetic conditions, gastroschisis, torticollis and plagiocephaly. Worked on program development, mentorship, handbooks, policies, procedures and protocols.
