• Manage and lead a multi-discipline CAD team in the delivery of designs for water and infrastructure projects in coordination with the associated project managers.
• Train CAD personnel in 3D drafting and other latest drafting software.
• Identify the engineering software required for the operations and provide guidance during procurement and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure that QC procedures are correctly and consistently implemented throughout the design process.
• Prepare resource plans and continuous management of CAD drafting resources to ensure that project delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.

Moved to MWH - India office after spending 6 months in MWH - Melbourne. Leading CAD work from MWH India office with various MWH offices in Aus and Nz. Mainly the projects are Transfer Pipelines, Reticulation network, Pump Stations, (Civil, Mech and Structural), Storage tanks, Water Treatment plants. Civil 3D is the main experties area in CAD applications..

I was part of Water Resources Alliance which is a formation of some big engg. consultancies in South Asia Pacific named SKM, MWH, UGL, BECA and Melbourne Water. This is a five years programme for Melbourne Water which consists of upgrading their existing assets and making sure Melbourne is well prepared for the water shortages and cope up the increased.

Main responsibilities as CAD Team lead:-Was managing Team of 18 CAD Technicians in MWH India. Coordination with discipline engineers (Civil, Mech, Elect and Process) from various MWH UK offices for ongoing projects. Responsible for budget, quality and timely delivery of the entire CAD work done in MWH India office for the UK. Checking and reviewing of CAD.

In CEC I was mainly involved in precast structures detailing for International Clients and projects mainly United States of America. Generally, the outputs produced were Erection drawings and the precast element detail drawings. Precast elements covered Double Tee Slabs, Inverted Tee Beams, and Columns with corbel and blockouts, Spandrel, Ramp walls, Stair.

• During this period, I was working as a Freelance CAD technician for different local companies in Pune (India). Most of the jobs involved Civil (RCC) and Steel Structural Detailing for following type of structures.
• Detailing & Drafting of Operating Platform Structures required for Thermal Equipment.
• Fabrication and detail drawings for Trusses, Cross Bracings, Staircase & Ladders
• Detailing of Columns, Beams and Connection details. Connection plates developments for welded as well as bolted structure
• Preparing Bill of Material (Quantity and Weight)
