I have devoted the past 10 years of my life to supporting children and young adults with disabilities. I have done this as a foster parent, adoptive parent, advocate and community leader. I believe all children deserve an opportunity to reach their full potential, and I work hard to offer families resources, support and advocacy to ensure their children can excel at home, at school and in the community. I believe that all people in our society should be treated with dignity, respect and equality. In addition to my educational advocacy on behalf of students, I am also an outspoken advocate for the civil rights of person's with disabilities. I use my knowledge, skills and training to ensure that persons with disabilities have equal access to the programs, services and opportunities available in our community.I am truly blessed to work with a dedicated group of professionals across the country in support of my mission. Through our efforts we are making an impact.
