Life was exciting!It was not enough.In December of 2006 I knew I needed change. Life had been fun but discipline made fun possible, and I needed it. So that’s how I found myself boarding a plane, destined for the Mighty Fighting Navy.There I was given the opportunity to commission an aircraft carrier - what an adventure! Afghanistan, England, Spain, Dubai, Bahrain – I saw them all! It was an exciting time but, after 6 years, I knew it was time to move on.It was time I finished my degree. Living up to my reputation as eager to learn and maybe even a tad bit overzealous, I threw myself into my studies. Double majoring and establishing two student organizations, I knew that it was the combination of knowledge, experience, and drive that created success. My hard work paid off. A new beginning was starting. I was eager to prove myself and Iron Mountain was my chance!Building teams, developing people, growing, learning – all while honing my skills in organization, lean initiatives, and process control - What an exciting job for a freshly graduated student! Every day was a new challenge waiting to be overcome, pushing me to my limits!And then it was time to move on.Now I am planning, negotiating, directing, and managing as a Buyer at MPP. Every day brings a new challenge to overcome and a new way to grow. In just four years I have received my CPIM, CSCP, masters degree, and accomplished what feels like a life's worth of adventures. So for now I am loving life, and ever seeking ways to strive, struggle, and grow!
