I lead a team of 3 IT Support technicians who helped support all internal IT systems at Compac. My job as a team leader was to create and delegate tasks to my team based on their strengths and weaknesses. I encouraged my team to step out of their comfort zone and tackle new problems they normally wouldn’t to help build their confidence. I maintained a positive work environment as I strongly believe this plays an important factor in job satisfaction and employee engagement. Being part of the Service Desk, my goal was to ensure client satisfaction and I did that through responding to end user problems in a timely manner and making sure the communication stayed open throughout the entire process.
