Chief Operations Officer - Global Network
CurrentReporting to the Head of CMA CGM Inland Services and a functional liaison in a matrix set up with the various CCIS General Managers and / or Clusters, main task is to achieve the highest level of operational and cost efficiency by installing standard operational processes and infrastructure in 80+ sites. RESPONSIBILITIES• Take ownership of the CCIS GlobaL OPS in order to drive standardization and cost efficiency / OPS excellence• Define and prioritise topics related to the delivery of the product, QSSE, Sustainibility, Security & all OPS related process and roll out globally best practices.• Develop mechanisms to ensure the correct implementation and adherence to these processes• Create a CCIS cost efficient, high quality & lean business environment• Oversee the installation of infrastructure that meets Group security standards• Optimize site equipment to reduce the Human element• Implement continuous improvement and training programs for depot staff• Ensure fast and efficient Gate processes, optimize notification system• Oversee the implementation and adherence to Global KPI’s• Define and implement environmentally green Handling machine solutions to meet Group emission targets and reduce the cost related to fossil fuels• Oversee ECH operational and repair costs – utilization , consumption etc• Work with the Group purchasing specialists to install state of the art Handling solutions• Optimize yard layout and infrastructure investments to achive maximum productivity on the lowest cost base leaseholds• Boost security and protection of Group staff and assets• Oversee the most cost efficient and environmentally friendly waste management / energy solutions• Implement the CCIS core model• Take ownership of innovation to increase workshop productivity• Implement transparent dashboards and KPI’s to deliver the core model in all of the network• Budget responsibility for costs relating to land maintenance – expansion and build back of plots we may leave
