Read the design drawing and blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine theworking procedure.Using the different types of hand tools and power tools set up industrial machinery parts and mechanical equipment like pumps, rollers, and conveyors as per the layout plans.Fitting, assembling, and sub assemble machinery using power tools or by hand.Inspecting and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.Repair or replace the defective parts for the proper working of the machinery.Perform preventive maintenance and line changeovers in an efficient and effective manner.Determine the root cause of mechanical equipment failure.Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect problems and investigate irregularitiesand malfunctions.Troubleshoot in vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic system to make sure runs properly.While doing maintenance or set up of machinery, operates machine tools such as grinders, wire wheel machine, and saw machine to fabricate parts required during overhaul.

Daily site visits to perform scheduled maintenance under direction of the Field Technician and 0&M Coordinator• Apply electrical theory to assist Field Technician in diagnosing probable causes of faults• Able to perform moderately physical demanding tasks with lots of walking and some moderately-heavy lifting• Participate in the preparation, review and execution of maintenance schedules• Supervise property maintenance sub contractors, plus be able to perform some property maintenance tasks• Assist the Field Technician with performing site inspections of all solar farm equipment• Preparing maintenance reports and other related documentation• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the CanadianSolar Solution Code of Business Conduct• Support ISO 9001 activities• Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies• Conduct other duties as required
