Created and executed integrated communication strategies for employee benefits, retirement, wellness, diversity and inclusion, using a variety of new and traditional media. In my role of Director, Organizational Readiness, I:• Published a monthly HR e-newsletter. Created, curated and edited content focusing on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, wealth-building and training.• Developed, together with colleagues in Global Population Health and Employee Health Services, a wellness communication calendar. Also marketed employee wellness events and created/edited content for new employee wellness portal.• Created a pension education campaign to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of cash balance pension plan that included an electronic postcard, infographic and new intranet page. Conducted employee focus groups and used the results to inform and improve communication content.• Managed content updates to employee intranet for benefits programs and wellness resources and developed/managed annual enrollment communications.

Supported a number of large corporate clients in the engagement and education of their employee workforces. Helped employees to maximize their company benefits and prepare for the future using a multi-media approach. Developed broad communication strategies and provided high-touch project management for multiple projects simultaneously, as well as managed outside vendors. In my role as Senior Consultant, I:• Provided ongoing support for a large pharmaceutical company, such as annual enrollment, pension de-risking, retirement planning education and non-qualified savings plan enrollment.• Conducted focus groups and developed a communication strategy for a large hospital system undergoing benefits changes. Achieved an overall increase in 401(k) enrollment with average deferral rate increasing by 2 percent.• Created multi-media campaign targeted to executives of a financial services company in support of non-qualified plan enrollment. Increased enrollment by 3 percent, even though fewer executives were eligible for the program than in prior years.

Sold HR communication work to corporate clients; managed communication projects and served as client manager to a pharmaceutical firm. In my role as Principal, I:• Developed employee communications to sustain engagement during the merger of two hospital systems.• Engaged employees in a global activity challenge for a consumer product company in 99 countries.• Integrated benefits and compensation plans for a small pharmaceutical company engaged in multiple acquisitions.

Developed and executed overall HR communication strategy for employee benefits, compensation, executive compensation, and talent. Measurably influenced employee behavior and steadily improved employee appreciation of communications, as evidenced through employee surveys and other feedback channels.
