Member of the Retail Loan implementation team. Work with Retail lending departments to understand current business processes and logic that derives the postings to current General Ledger. Document current business process to convert to SAP Bank Analyzer - AFI.

Develop key monthly management reports. Provide research and analysis on projects as directed by the Dealer Finance COO and serve as a primary liaison for BB&T Dealer Finance with various groups within the Bank as well as certain Information Technology (IT) vendors. Assume responsibility for project management and various processes.

Responsible for providing accounting and financial reporting services to Dealer Finance. Ensure all financial reports and schedules are provided timely and accurately to Accounting and Financial Reporting. Financial reports and schedules include, but are not limited to, credit quality information, OTS TFR support, FDIC Call Report support, Federal Reserve Y-9C report support, SEC 10-Q footnotes, SEC 10-K footnotes and application reports.

• Provide key financial data at quarter end to Financial Management, including but not limited to: non-accruals, losses, repossessions, recoveries, and other key portfolio performance characteristics. • Coordinating $6 billion loan portfolio budget between executive management and individual cost centers to achieve company’s growth, quality, and profitability goals.• Responsible for FASB 91 cost studies, surveys, and journal entries for entire indirect portfolio.• Extract key financial data and perform budget analysis using COGNOS software.• Developed and maintain department intranet site using Interwoven software.• Analyze portfolio trends from static pool analysis and Beacon migration.• Design and implement multiple databases to track key department measurements.• Provide monthly income statement and key productivity measurements at various levels.• Back up Corporate Credit Risk Manager and Information Security Compliance Manager.

Responsible for providing monthly Income Statement and financial performance analysis of BB&T’s decentralized Indirect Lending departments. Provide financial statement spreads and written analysis on automobile dealerships. • Coordinate annual reviews of commercial and retail loans and lines. • Provide interest rate analysis of competitors and impact to current profitability.• Maintain appropriate legal documentation for commercial customers.• Provide trends regarding loan portfolio performance.
