  GENERAL DESCRIPTION:This role will provide leadership, organization and coordination to support McCoy-Rockford’s key PM activities and ensure all projects adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for project management. Manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management related processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Create and maintain consistent standards and processes for the PM team that will contribute to best practices • Allocate PM resources and distribute PM work load to ensure balanced workload • Maintain a system that tracks workload balancing and develop metrics for the PM team• Liaison between PM's, Design, and Sales• Provide cost management in allocating project expenses on orders and billings• Manage department budget• Participate in cross-functional Operations meetings, discussions, and projects • Develop successful and strong working relationships with clients and internal team• Build relationships with key clients and vendors to facilitate growth and participate in local and national organizations that build industry network and knowledge.• Educate present clients on present service capabilities• Ensure PM team is fully leveraging technology and available tools• Create training material and resources for new project managers to ensure successful onboarding• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Consult with human resources as appropriate. • Direct and supervise assigned projects (people, budgets, etc.) for multiple customers.
