Supporting Structural Qualification testing of the Space Launch System in partnership with NASA. As a Test Conductor, I have coordinated Test Planning and Execution for multiple component-level tests, authoring Test Procedures, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW), and Test Reports. I have also conducted multiple Test Design Reviews (TDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and Break of Configuration Reviews (BOC). I have coordinated cross-functional teams within Boeing and with NASA stakeholders and 3rd-party testing facilities.I have experience with Shock and Vibration Testing, Nut Factor Testing, Acceptance Testing, Thermal Vacuum Chamber Testing, Wire Harness Testing, Fluids Testing, and Acoustic Testing. In regards to documentation, I have served as a peer reviewer for many technical documents, acting as a first line of defense for Document Quality Assurance (DQA) ensuring compliance and consistency in formatting. I have gained a high level of familiarity with the Advanced Product Data Management (APDM) system for documentation release. I have shepherded multiple documents through internal release processes. I am in charge of keeping a working spreadsheet tracking all documents and drawings assigned to our team, as well as the designations for each test conducted. I have served as the Responsible Engineer (RE) for multiple change requests through internal processes, filling out numerous forms and populating presentations going to multiple review boards.I have participated in a company-wide multi-site interdisciplinary board tasked with the creation of guiding design principles for Load Train Systems used in testing. As an early-career participant, my main job was to ensure that the documentation was written in a way that someone with my inexperienced background could understand. As a result, this learning opportunity has expanded the breadth of my testing knowledge.

Nov 2019 - Present

Adjunct Instructor

Waco, Texas Area

I worked as an adjunct lab instructor for the Mechanical Engineering department at Baylor University. Under the supervision of a lab coordinator, I prepared and administered laboratory activities for mechanical engineering undergraduate students in the instrumentation and measurements lab, teaching them proper research techniques with precision test measurement systems, as well as working with data acquisition systems, such as LabVIEW. I also did troubleshooting and corrected any hardware and software issues with lab equipment. I taught students how to calibrate test measurement systems and publish their results in an organized test report.Beginning January 2019, I was also a lab instructor for the materials and manufacturing processes lab. I provided undergraduates experience with determining materials properties as well as an intuitive understanding of the differences between materials. I helped students explore the effects of heat treatment on ferrous and non-ferrous metal alloys. I taught students professional data recording and reporting techniques, including preparing technical written memos. I also taught students how to operate various materials testing machines, including hardness testers and universal testing machines.

Aug 2017 - May 2019

Mechanical Engineering Student

I successfully defended my thesis, titled "A Study of Chemical Treatments and Processing for Banana Fiber-Reinforced LDPE Composites". My thesis research involved characterization of polymers as well as the development of techniques to successfully produce injection molded bio-composites. Extensive analysis was performed in order to identify and quantify composite properties as well as address common issues in the development of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites. Failure analysis investigations were also performed using scanning electron microscopy. In addition to taking graduate level classes, I served as a teaching assistant for several professors, with duties ranging from helping undergraduates in mechanical engineering labs to grading assignments.

Aug 2010 - Aug 2016

Engineering Intern

Plant 2- Hurst, Tx

I was an engineering intern for Bell Helicopter within the XworX Materials Research and Development Group, where I assisted a professional engineer with research on fiberglass composites. I investigated sources of resin bleeding during cure cycles for aerospace-related composite materials, presenting research findings to corporate executives of various technical and non-technical backgrounds. I also performed simple composite hand layup.

Jun 2013 - Aug 2013

Engineering Intern

Hurst, Texas
