Thermodynamics Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department

Provided academic assistance to 4 students in various engineering courses every week throughout the year. Used excellence in previous engineering courses to provide help to those who took classes I had previously taken.

Researching firebrand generation and the thermodynamic processes which occur during this process. Experimented the effects of thermodynamics on natural vegetation by using a jet burner. Designed a sample holder to hold the jet burner and worked with professor to quantify the exposure conditions from the jet burner and the parameters that affect firebrand generation.Used Minitab to create a test array to compile experimental data and perform statistical analysis on said data.

Provided insight and aid in the Space Science and Economic Development sector of Perspecta, including assisting with contracts with NOAA, NASA and HUD. Developed ideas and ways to transfer all data downloaded from NOAA satellites onto a single cloud server for ease of recovery and compilation.Negotiated contracts and Pipeline deal with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Defense Information Systems Agency and Defense Enterprise Office Solution.

Maintenance and upkeep of an over 2200 square foot manufacturing plant. Ensured safety and integrity of plant by performing inspections and repairs of various machinery and equipment throughout the plant. Oversaw and collaborated to find solutions for equipment malfunctions.
