Advised clients in civil litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on business-related disputes, employment law, product liability, and complex mass torts. Handled matters for both large and small clients, including a multi-national agricultural biotechnology corporation, one of the largest municipal entities in the world, aviation-related companies, domestic and international construction companies, a Manhattan-based supply corporation and importer, hedge funds, financial institutions, individuals and other notable clients. My experience at Patton Boggs spanned the entire litigation process, from the investigatory and pleading stages through fact and expert discovery, motion practice and trial.Counseled clients on a variety of employment law issues and human resources matters, including disciplinary and termination issues; employment contracts/handbooks/codes of conduct; non-compete agreements; protection of trade secrets and other confidential/proprietary information; reductions in force; and compliance with a broad spectrum of other federal, state and local regulations. Focused on pro bono practice, which was concentrated in women’s rights issues and defending victims of domestic violence to obtain orders of protection.
