• As a experience ranger I am accountable for maintaining exceptional standards of customer service as part of delivering the visitor experience
• My Duties include, Opening the National Trust visitor center in the morning, setting up the shop and site, maning the admission gate on the site, being a friendly face for visitors to the beach and answering any.
• Other duties included closing up at the end on the day, balancing the shop and gate floats and preparing the floats for the next day. Putting the day’s takings in the safe and setting the alarm before I leave.

• My Primary role was to take the customers itinerary, use their booking number to issue their transport tickets for the specialised Over snow transport that took them to the remote resort.
• My other duties included, selling transport and resort tickets, it was important I knew the various packages the resort offered.
• Composing e-mails to pass along important information to different members of staff, preparing records using Microsoft Excel to show the different resort packages we had sold during the week and how many people.
• There would be times when I would be working by myself or with other members of the guest services team, both brought their own challenges, communication whilst working with others was vital to our success team.

• I was responsible for informing members of the public about up and coming council events and giving general tourist information on particular locations in the Portstewart, Portrush area.
• Another duty was to help ensure that anti-social behaviour was kept to an absolute minimum especially during major public events like the Irish golf Open and the Red Sails week. By helping minimise anti-social.
• The role requires me to keep a detailed report on the events occurring throughout the day, this is to be competed each day and handed into the council on the requested day.
