System Administration: Maintained network hardware & software, analyzed glitches, & monitored the network to ensure its availability to end users for CDLMS, CEC, SSDS and External Communication Equipment. Assisted in the installation, activation, and utilization of IBM blade server racks with RAID controllers.  Performed fiber optic & controller system development to automate switching of fiber optic communication channels. Interconnected media variation adapters to allow equipment communication in a daily changing test environment.  Maintained & configured physical-level switching mechanisms & computer systems.Information Technology and Electronics: Installed and terminated numerous cable types to include fiber optic, Ethernet, multi-pin, coaxial and tri-axial. Performed preventive & corrective maintenance on assigned equipment at the organizational &/or intermediate level using ordnance publications, circuit diagrams, & other appropriate documentation. Proficient with test equipment use & signal readings on electronic systems. Performed RF voice & data telecommunications equipment repair.
