TM Television is a respected value-added reseller and integrator of television production systems throughout Texas and the surrounding states. The scope of our work has evolved considerably from providing standalone editing systems. Today we improve media workflows with multiple lines of networked storage, backup and archive, digital asset management, and encoding and distribution systems. We help our clients from media acquisition and production to delivery and presentation using the latest broadcast and audio-visual technology. Integrating these systems involves configuring multiple server operating systems, software platforms, network routing and switching, and specialized television production and distribution gear to work together seamlessly. We help our clients Manage, Protect, and Deliver Media.

Fullstream DVD allowed me time away to use my engineering skills on other projects. During this time I had three major projects where I designed and built turnkey studio production and post production facilities with multiple edit suites, audio post production suites, graphics suites, and centralized equipment rooms. Additionally, I did maintenance engineering for a production company, and technical directing and camera shading for corporate clients.

Worked with a veteran producer and storyteller on an entrepreneurial venture to produce interactive programming on DVD. I was involved with every aspect of production, from running audio and lighting on shoots, to editing on Avid and authoring and mastering the final DVD on Spruce DVD Maestro.

I helped Showcase Productions transition their post production operation from linear tape-based editing to fully digital non-linear editing and compositing. Along the way, we grew the duplication department into its own adjacent building and greatly expanded our client service areas.

I was lucky to join AMS Productions fresh out of college as an Engineering Assistant. Over the course of almost five years, we worked on expanding the post production operation, built a second studio and a broadcast truck, grew from 20 employees to over 50, and began planning a much bigger and more ambitious facility. When the Chief Engineer moved on, I found myself in the dual roles of managing the technical needs of the facility and doing production engineering in both the studios and on remotes with the truck. I engineered live satellite broadcasts, taped programming, even a radio show for corporations, political candidates, and media personalities. AMS attracted an amazing group of talented individuals, both employees and clients, many of whom still seek each other out to work together years later.
