My primary function at Pro-Tec Design is to work with clients to formulate plans to increase their organizational security through the implementation of new access control and video security systems. While there I sold the single largest IP video system (Milestone & Axis) and server array (Iomnis) in the company history. As Vice President of Operations I helped the company realize the best financials in the company's history.

Managed the Sales and Operations of the Integrated Systems Group which designed, sold and installed Access Control, Video, Intercom and related security systems.Notible projects included the Midtown Exchange project including Allina Headquarters.

Helped start the Special Systems Group within the Automation Division for the Egan Companies. The Special Systems Group designed, sold and installed large access control, video, intercom and fire alarm projects for commercial interests. My original position was as the Operations Manager, which included all engineering and project management for the group. Later I took a position in sales for the group. Notible projects included extensive work for Target Corporation and Daytons, installing access and video systems in 13 states, including Minneapolis, New York City, Boston, Phoenix, San Francisco and other locations. The buidlings included headquarters and adminstration buildings, credit card facilities, data centers and stores.

Engineered and Managed large security and fire alarm projects for Healthcare and Government organizations. Also was technical support for the Great Northern Region.Notible projects included many projects at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester (Mayo), Regions Hospital, Olmsted ADC and City Hall, Gateway Computers and many others.

Develop and performance test new products to high internal standards and make improvements where necessary. Specialized in airflow, sound and electrical and transient testing, Worked with relays, air cleaners, consumer products and thermostats.
