Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Developed internal web hosting infrastructure to improve supportability and reduce costs from previous commercial hosting provider. - Implemented automation processes with Ansible to bring consistency to the environment and increase team efficiency. - Worked closely with different units on campus to develop a new CMS that fulfilled their units business needs. - Developed a production Docker environment for test projects as well as projects with limited lifespan. - Developed Docker based Elasticsearch environment. - Developed Amazon S3 based backup solution to satisfy disaster recovery requirements. - Received AWS certified developer and OWASP certified secure web application engineer training and certification. - Expanded and maintained campus VMWare architecture- Develop web technology, manage software development environment, support complex web application environment. - Identify and develop innovative solutions that are highly scalable and performing. - Identify, evaluate, and promote the adoption of new system and software development tools. - Define and manage the software development environment and deployment processes. - Research options, develop code for proof-of-concepts, and make recommendations for business partners, developers, and management. - Identify technology that simplify and accelerate web development processes. - Collaborate with systems, applications, and digital team to develop solutions that integrate web with enterprise systems and applications. - Provide technology support and consultation of web hosting technology. - Perform web usage analysis, performance testing, and make recommendation for technology improvement. - Support and migrate existing web applications. Troubleshoot web application bugs, system malfunctions, and resolve technical issues relate to web applications accordingly.Received Chancellor's Staff Recognition Award
