I've written articles for various newspapers and magazines. Since May 2014, I've been the contributing editor at the Arab American News in Dearborn, Michigan; and since June 2016, I've been doing prospect research for major gifts at the University of Detroit Mercy, using both Research Point and Raiser's Edge. I've also contributed writing, editing and research work to TheWEIGH & Neighborhood News Hub, a monthly magazine focused on healthier living and positive general community news.My articles have appeared in Zoom Magazine, Hogan’s Alley Magazine, Building Business and Apartment Management Magazine, Oakland Progressor Magazine, Mirror of Royal Oak, Royal Oak Daily Tribune, Northville Record & Novi News, Oakland Press, Observer & Eccentric newspapers, and Highlights, the alumni magazine of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. I also had an 18 month stint as a weekly movie reviewer (with two or three reviews per week) for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune in Cheboygan, MI. Articles I've written have ranged from business profiles to features, to community events and subjects of historical and/or cultural interest.I've also written three radio plays (a science fiction story, a mystery story and a western), which were produced and performed by All Ears Theatre in Kalamazoo, MI and broadcast on WMUK 102.1 FM.My short story "Ascension" was published in audio format by SCYWEB BEM Audiozine. My novella, "Kestor", was published by Silver Blade Magazine at http://www2.silverblade.net/2014/06/kestor/From 2009 to 2013 I wrote a blog, "Random Musings", which appeared on the Michigan Chronicle website. Duties included writing family guides for the Streets of Old Detroit, Frontiers to Factories, Motor City and Techno exhibits; doing research, and giving tours of the museum, during which I educated visitors about Detroit history. Was also assigned at Historic Fort Wayne and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle.
