I generated 5+ original stories weekly, including hard news, features, profiles, arts, and community news. I copy edited for other Lillie Suburban Newspaper publications.This company went defunct in 2019.

I worked to create a positive experience for museum-goers, while selling merchandise during one of the most successful exhibits at the museum to date. I stocked merchandise, counted out cash drawers, and closed the store.

I helped manage a watering crew, supervised volunteers, executed landscaping projects, helped maintain two hoop houses, and did routine checks on vehicles.

Worked as a clerk at a gas station. Cleaned the hot dog machine, sold cigarettes, lottery tickets, and candy.

I worked with four adults with disabilities, administering medication, coordinating their day-to-day lives, scheduling medical appointments, cooking, and assisting with their daily living tasks.

I wrote long-form news articles, art reviews, and poetry for the bi-weekly publication. I also shot photographs to accompany various articles.

I shot up to 12 weekly assignments in all types of subject matter, from sports to cattle to the presidential race, coordinating with reporters and the subjects, with daily deadlines. I edited and formatted photos for web and print. I independently produced dozens of striking front page pictures and 40+ web slideshows and multimedia pieces.

I organized and prepared a three-hour weekly music radio show comprised of avant garde, folk, pop, garage, noise and punk music.I did on-air advertisements and voice-overs, announced the weather, operated the soundboard and assisted with on-air interviews of musicians.

As a bus boy cleared, cleaned, and re-set tables, filled water glasses, removed dirty dishes, and wore a tiny black apron.This business underwent a name change in the mid-2010's from "Iowa River Power Company Restaurant" to "Iowa River Power Restaurant."

Worked at a UPS-like store where I sold stationary trinkets, straightened postcards so that they were exactingly arranged, and faxed documents for people, all under the watchful eye of the business owner. I was fired on my 16th birthday for reasons unknown to me. Because it was the middle of the workday and unexpected, I had to walk home along a highway rather than catch a ride from my parents. It would have been the day my wage would have legally had to go up. This is the only job I have ever been terminated from.
