I have twenty two years in the display/merchandising/store design business. It's made me a seasoned hand at creating value, and delivering profitable return-on-investment. I have a broad range of experience from luxury to mass market, in display, merchandising, packaging, POP, fixture design, and rollout. My experience covers retail stores, showrooms, store design; everything that influences and builds the customer's perception of brand value. To me, Visual Presentation is about problem solving, and profitably making a product more 'want-able'.As Halston used to say, "a pretty dress is one that sells". I work mostly on shorter term projects these days, a few days to a few weeks at a time. I’ve been doing pop-up shops lately, which has been fun very MacGyver-like. My last two consulting projects have been for cannabis startups, which I’ve really enjoyed, because it’s in many ways different from anything I’ve worked on before, and the differing state legalities make it a little more complicated than selling clothes. But it’s still about telling stories, and inviting the customer to be a part of the story. I'm open to a longer term job commitment, but I like where I am, and I enjoy the work/life balance of freelance.Specialties: I'm adept at rebuilding older or damaged brands, and creating / redefining hierarchies in multi-tiered brands. I'm particularly skilled at bringing two dimensional marketing equity (advertising, product attributes, logos) into a three dimensional shopping environment. I build a strong "visual culture" through coaching; elevating standards and consistency, and strengthening brand identity through presentation.
