I created a 5aside football team called GOAT FC when I was 15 years old alongside my friend Simon Mooney. I left Newcastle a few years later and Simon took the team from a 5aside team to a Sunday League team to a Saturday Amateur team to now a fully FA Chartered team that competes in the non league pyramid. 16 years later, I am returning "home" to Newcastle with the intention of rising through the leagues whilst building a fan base using new media. We have invested heavily into state of the art cameras to bring what we hope will be the best documented journey from "park to prem". In weekly episodes we will be bringing the highs, lows, dramas, team talks, skills and shortcomings of what amateur football is really about, whilst engaging all throughout the week on social media channels. There is a very big disconnect between professional football teams and their supporters. Because of the internet, your favourite or second favourite team doesn't need to be the team that you live closest to, the team that you identify with can now be one that is relatable and stands by something that you stand by and deserves your support. This business model is tried and tested and works in the South of England, especially around London because there is a big creative presence here. However Newcastle as a City is all about football and we plan to capture that and be the drive behind our movement.

Starting at the bottom of the chain, I devoted time and energy into maximising my potential and by 2013 I decided to go "pro". Within 18 months I was ranked number 1 in the world and since have experienced many successes. I have amassed over 12 Million Dollars in cashes, have won world titles and competed and won consistently at the highest world class level for over 4 years.

In 2016 Party Poker started to aggressively try to acquire more market share by increasing resources and finance towards increasing market share. I was hired alongside Boris Becker as a Global Brand Ambassador. As a face of the company players trusted that their money was safe and started listening to the ideas that we made. Perhaps more important, I consult directly with senior management and am in a position of trust that allows me to make impactful, immediate changes to key parts of the companies identity.Over the first 12 months we hit record growth numbers and are currently in a position to challenge as the market leader.

Fortunately due to my experience (business work path) industry knowledge (poker) and financial situation (poker) I was able to mix the three to found my own start up company bitb Staking. bitB Staking offers promising poker players capital and mentorship.Working hands on, I have devised and rolled out the business strategy for the company. Our players have cashed over $100,000,000 at the online tables.

I started working for PokerStrategy.com in 2010 in the consultancy department. I showed versatility and moved into different roles in the company including B2B and Education, where I would source new coaches, agree salaries and maintain good relations.Finally I worked in the English business unit, deciding on strategies, salaries and people management. Throughout my time at PokerStrategy.com I showed intuition and initiative to drive new projects and help the company maximise its potential in the areas that I focused on.In my 4 years with the company I changed from being a bright university graduate to an established business professional who understood exactly how a business was ran from top to bottom. With over 7 million members we were by far the biggest poker affiliate in the world and shortly after the company was sold to Playtech for €38.3m I decided to pursue my dreams of being a professional poker player.

This was my first job as a graduate. Despite being inexperienced and perhaps naive, I learned key people skills and organisation skills from the experienced and highly competent manager of the company - Nigel Reeves. I was trusted to lead projects, innovate and bring a little bit of flair to a finance company that was perhaps a little dull and attracting members in a "dated" way. Reeves have since pursued this strategy of marketing and have grown a lot as a company.
