The AOC Scholarship Project aims to support the development and embedding of a distinct college higher education scholarly ethos across the sector. A key outcome is to establish a 'scholarship framework' that can be adopted by all colleges and is firmly centred on advancing relevant forms of scholarship within technical and professional curricula and which aims to enhance the learning experience for students. Within my current role I am responsible for delivering the project aims for Hull College Group and the two partner colleges Bradford College and Blackpool and Fylde College. My key role is to communicate the objectives of the project and gain the support and engagement of all stakeholders within the three colleges including employers, staff, senior manager and students.

Part of the Senior Management Team and responsible for meeting the Work-Based apprenticeship contract and the management of delivery teams across college in all curriculum areas including Health and Social Care, Hospitality, Management, Hair and Beauty, Business Admin, Retail, Animal Care, Engineering and Construction. Employer Engagement activities including commercial curriculum, international, external funding contracts, World Skills Competitions, enterprise activity and redundancy provision. Peer Inspector being part of the inspection team on both FE and WBL full inspections.

SMT member, responsible for the substantial HE, FE and WBL provision within this curriculum area. Liaising closely with partner universities and personally chairing validations and award boards. Managing directly the Grade 1 FE provision including full and part time provision in Business Admin, Business Management and Tourism. Also responsible for the full cost commercial provision in the curriculum area. Peer Inspector with ESTYN being part of the inspection team on full college FE inspections.

Lecturer responsible for the delivery of Level 3 vocational courses, A levels, and HND's and HNC's as well as BA in Management. Course leader for the substantial full time FE Business Studies vocational provision.

Lecturer on both vocational and professional courses within the business management and accounts curriculum areas.
