Biofouling Solutions Pty Ltd (BFS) services cover a broad range of scientific, professional and technical skills required to effectively manage biofouling and to protect the marine environment from the impacts associated with invasive marine species (IMS). BFS specialises in pragmatic management of IMS risks via reducing the potential for their transport and introduction.

Providing expert advice to the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) to assist in the delivery of a global best practice standard for managing biofouling in the offshore oil and gas industry.

From  May  2012  to  May  2014  I  undertook  an  independent  conservation  project  involving  a  two-­person  sailing   expedition  from  the  Arctic  to  Africa and then across the Atlantic to the Caribbean.  During  the  voyage  my  partner  Leonie  Suter  and  I  are  examining  local   conservation  issues,  studying  trends  in  marine  biodiversity  and  expanding  our  personal  and  professional  horizons.
