Patrick Low. Founder / Creative Partner. Goodfellas.Pat began his career in 1978 at Fortune Advertising, then Singapore's largest local advertising agency. Working on blue-chip accounts like Mitsubishi cars, Ikea furniture, and DBS bank gave him the perfect foundation for what was to follow. In 1981 he left Fortune for Ogilvy & Mather, where he won his first major award for Philips, becoming the first Singaporean to feature in the prestigious One Show. Besides Philips, he also won many awards for Carrier, BMW, and Shell at O&M.In 1987, he moved to Y&R, where he spent a large part of his career creating many award-winning and memorable campaigns for Toyota, Lexus, Ikea, SingTel, Epson, Ericsson, Citibank, Singapore Tourism Board, OCBC Bank, and many others.1n 1995, Pat became the first Singaporean to chair the local Creative Circle Awards, setting the stage for many other Singaporeans to follow. In 1998, he co-wrote the short film 'OOPS', which featured in the Sundance Film Festival.In 2005 he was awarded Champion of the Creative Circle by the industry and was also featured in IDEAS, a book on Singapore's hottest creative directors.Pat has won awards in every major international competition, notably the One Show, D&AD, Clio, New York Festival, London International, Communication Arts, and Cannes. Besides winning awards, he has also judged many, including the APEC Effie and Cannes Advertising Festival. In 2007, he was voted Singapore's Creative Director of the Year at the Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame Awards.In August 2009, Pat left Y&R after 22 years to form Goodfellas.Pat is the Vice Chairman of the Institute of Technical Education Design School Advisory Council and the Chairman of the Temasek Polytechnic School of Design Advisory Council. He's also a member of the polytechnic's Board of Governors.
