As an engineering intern I aided senior engineers in making the McKinney building in downtown Houston more energy efficient. To accomplish this, we installed remote sensors into all AC units in the building that allowed the building managers to turn off sections of the building that were not in use. My responsibilities in this position included equipment maintenance and inventory, rewiring AC units, and participating in team dynamics and project planning.
