As a Telstra Business Account Manager, it is my responsibility to consult, guide and advise Business customers on the best solutions for their needs now and for the future.With an extensive range of products for an extensive range of clients from sole traders to Enterprise and Governments.The range of products are a huge, including but not limited to, Basic line connections, Digital line connections, Adsl connections, mobile phone, Fibre connection and complex data solutions.The success of my role is measured by the success of my clients. When the right solution is put in place, my clients see an increase in productivity, It managers become CIO's as the become more strategic, and the companies bottom line increase.The telecommunications world is always changing so its people have to as well.New products are always popping up.The world is moving in a new direction with all ICT requirements. So is Telstra. Anyone can provision phone lines, but only the best can supply complex data networks, highly secure Infrastructure as a Service while guaranteeing not just the highest SLA's but also the best security in the Country if not the world!This is what makes my job easier and more enjoyable, advising and consulting clients and knowing the are getting world class products!

My responsibilities in this role was to manage a portfolio of 230 clients. The total spend per annum for these client was $3.2 million dollars. My target was to increase the spend of these cutomers by 10%. My sales target per month was $75k with a retention traget of $85k. These targets were exceeded on 11 months out of the 12 I was there, with my largest month hitting over $220k in new sales. Major achievements included selling wholistic solutions to clients which covered Fixed lines, mobile phones and data. All solutions provided to my clients were specific to their needs. Also winning back of large customers from competitiors and in some cases increasing the revenue from clients from as little as $4k per annum to $100k per annum.
