An experienced Humanities, Commerce, and VCE Business Management Teacher, I am the current Learning Leader of the Humanities team at Mary MacKillop College, Leongatha. The prime responsibility of this role is driving innovation and improvement in learning in the College. This encompasses building teacher capacity as well as maximising student achievement. My passion for deepening an understanding of 'how we learn best' is fundamental in this role and helps maintain my desire to help our students be the best learners possible, whilst ensuring our teaching teams are using scientifically proven methods of teaching to facilitate this learning. I pride myself on the ability to plan effectively and thoroughly in order to deliver the most engaging learning experiences for our students. I feel confident in developing a rapport with students and professional relationships with my colleagues. I am continually reflecting on my interpersonal skills to help ensure I am working to my capacity.
