As First Vice President for Alliant Insurance, PatrickMcIntyre is responsible for the design and development ofproperty and casualty and workers’ compensationprograms for a variety of commercial risks that includeagriculture, resorts and hotels, commercial constructionrisks, and private golf and country clubs. With his diversebackground and training, McIntyre also designs andimplements risk management programs and services forhis customers that include claims management and review,site evaluation, loss control service plans, completecoverage analysis, and exposure reviews.McIntyre began his professional career in 1983 withFremont Indemnity Group in Los Angeles as a propertyand casualty claims adjuster and later moved into workerscompensation where he was trained in loss control, audit,underwriting and marketing. In 1989, McIntyre joinedZenith Insurance Company, where he worked inunderwriting and was later promoted to marketingmanager for the Sacramento branch. In 1993, hetransitioned into commercial insurance sales and in 1999joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services as vice president incommercial sales in Sacramento.McIntyre continues to work on general business andprivate golf and country clubs. He specializes on largealternative risk programs like self-insured groups (SIG) inCalifornia and captive insurance placements (group, singlecell and homogenous) for large and more complexrisks nationally.
