Currently in the position of Vice President of Dundalk IT Students Union. In my position of Vice President my role falls under 2 main Headings, Welfare and Entertainment. With Welfare, I am available everyday to help students with all issues they may encounter. If any Student may find themselves struggling to settle in, finding college or personal life tough or just simply day to day problems no matter how big or small, they are encouraged to not hesitate in calling into the Students' Union office or pick up the phone day or night to contact me.In addition to the above, I have been busy promoting existing college and local services, such as continuing to promote the free STI screening clinic which is available at Louth County Hospital. I have constantly worked on promoting positive mental health throughout the campus which has been seen in monthly Mental Health workshops and talks. On the Entertainment side of my work, I have been seen to provide enjoyable college nights out, both here in Dundalk and throughout surrounding areas with Balls and mystery bus tours. Both day and night there will be performances from a variety of entertainers, bands, Comedians and DJ’s from within our campus and outside. I always try where I can to promote and use our own Talented Musicians.
