I have worked as a document reviewer for several years, primarily at the firm K&L Gates in Seattle doing document reviews for many of their clients, primarily Microsoft. I took the opportunity to work on a telecommuting basis for DiscoverReady, using both Concordance and Attenex Patterns software. I then on-site at a corporation, Intellectual Ventures, through a consultant company, MetaJure, and shifted to telecommuting for them as well. With those two telecommuting employers providing work, I relocated from the Seattle area to Hawai`i in 2008 until those projects came to a close in 2009. Thinking it more likely that there would be review work in Washington, D.C. than elsewhere, I moved there, but still kept in touch with former co-workers. One of them, Lara Gustavson of eLex pllc, continued doing work as a consultant company, eLex for Intellectual Ventures, and added me to projects there from November 2010 to March 2011. Since that time I have been working on an antitrust case at the firm Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro in Seattle.
