In this role, I oversee the implementation, testing and certification processes as well as acting as problem support and resolution specialist for Charles River Network clients. I provide Tier 1 and 2 remote application, system integration and straight through processing support for all FIX related connectivity and trade related errors for over 200 Charles River Fix Network clients. I also perform troubleshooting on the Charles River Fix Network (WAN/LAN), including switch, router and VPN configuration settings and maintenance.✔ Manage over 20 Buy Side clients as the lead contact for all software upgrades, testing DR infrastructure, certifying and testing new workflow and on-boarding new brokers.✔ Conduct configuration and management of new connections from Buy Side clients to all supported brokers.✔ Implement new clients ensuring all new workflow requirements are met, as well as providing problem support/resolution for network clients.✔ Serve as Lead Engineer responsible for configuring and maintaining the Charles River Network Hub (Juniper SRX-1400) which performs NAT/PAT translations for 80% of our network (~ 5,600 connections). - Evaluate any new connection adds, migrations, or changes for existing connections and ensure the Network Hub is properly configured so all traffic will be properly routed to the appropriate destination. - Ensure annual Disaster Recovery testing is performed and configuration backups are completed weekly.
