About Patrick Saxton
Hello, I am a Sophomore Software Engineering student, with a minor in Computer Engineering, at MSOE. I have project-based experience with Java, C, and Software Engineering using IntelliJ and CLion in a UNIX environment. I aim to become a full-time software engineer post-college, focusing on application development. I enjoy building things from the ground up and making a difference in people's lives. Being at the forefront of technology and change inspires me to learn and work hard towards the goals that I set in my life.I have been involved with horses since I was 11 and they have had a tremendous effect on my life. I have been involved in working with horses from the ground up and training them into a formidable opponent to the very best. Horses have also given me numerous opportunities to meet very skilled individuals and given me the opportunity to run my own horse shows. These opportunities along with my own personal horses have allowed me to work on skills that have led me to be the person I am today. These reasons have led me to become a better programmer because I don't give up. Horses are an endless fight that never ceases to get easier, and code can be like that too. I have found passion in getting a project to work and continue to improve and develop It, just like with horses.
