These include the National Pupil Database (NPD) a world-renowned resource of information about education in England supporting funding, research and policy making within the DfE and beyond, the Qualifications Reference Database, the Department’s single source of qualifications data feeding school performance data, and an array of other data products.I lead my team to develop, deliver and support several data related products and services. These meet customer needs and are completed within pre-agreed timescales. My team work with Data Engineering colleagues to roll-out and operate new data handling services and ensure the stability, robustness and resilience of products and services, implementing changes where necessary.In addition, I maintain and support the continuous improvement of Data Operations standards and engage with stakeholders at all relevant points.Personal Skills within the role• Strong Management and leadership skills, analysing requirements and matching team resources to product deliveries• Expert in SQL server, TSQL programming and ETL processing.
