I have been working successfully as an Industrial Electrician for the past 18 years and have a broad range of experience in the petrochemical, manufacturing and mining industry. Worksites have included both open pit and underground shaft mines, as well as extraction plants and oil refineries. I am currently working at a potash marine terminal. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience as an industrial electrician in the petrochemical and mining industry for 18 years• Extensive experience with construction and maintenance of various systems, including 600V and high voltage switchgear, PLCs, mini substations, pumps, fans, conveyors, phone lines, gas detection and monitoring, fire alarms, lighting, temporary power, and electrical heat trace• Strong ability to read and interpret isometric, wiring, and single-line drawings, as well as schematic diagrams for the purpose of construction and trouble-shooting• Comprehensive experience in trouble-shooting various electrical equipment and related systems• Exceptional commitment to safety, including 18 years of incident-free work in an industrial setting• Trained to operate aerial work platforms and comfortable working at heights• Demonstrated skill in learning new concepts quickly, working well under pressure, and communicating ideas clearly and effectively• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
