As an Engineer II at ThermoFisher Scientific, I work with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and focused ion beam (FIB) technologies to validate and integrate hardware and software to develop fully automated metrology and sample-prep tools. I have successfully completed multiple projects involving front-end semiconductor manufacturing processes, such as etching, photolithography, and deposition, and delivered high-quality results and reports using JMP and Microsoft Excel. I have a Master of Science in Applied Chemistry from the University of Oregon, where I focused on semiconductor and photovoltaic physics. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Grinnell College, where I conducted undergraduate research on synthesizing derivatives of an antibiotic that fights three common strains of bacteria. I am passionate about R&D semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, and solar and renewable energy, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to advance my career and contribute to the field.
