• In this position, I provide clinical services such as individual therapy sessions, case management services, family therapy sessions in addition to also facilitating men's and women's groups that range from 10 to 40 participants per group daily on the topics of DBT, CBT, substance abuse, recovery and much more. • This clinical therapist also assist clients and their families in addressing the clients ongoing needs while using clinical best practices to engage formal and informal resources for the client including the transition, discharge and aftercare plans of behavioral health and recovery services. • In this role, this clinical therapist demonstrates a positive, strengths based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership and ensures all services are clinically necessary and are documented as such within outlined timeframes for each and every client.

• In this position, I provided clinical services such as direct therapy, case management services, facilitating child family teams, intakes and assessments that foster solution/strengths based orientation. Assist in addressing the client and family’s ongoing needs. Ensures all services are clinically necessary and are documented as such within outlined timeframes at least 95% of the time.•Also, I provided clinical oversight for the coordination of behavioral health services with other agencies, such as Child Protective Services, Probation and Parole Departments, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Long Term Care, schools and other providers. Participates in assigned and job related committees (BH Matrix; Training; Substance Abuse; Utilization Management; Safety, MIS/Nextgen Computer, and Risk Management).•I worked effectively within the Recovery Model as outlined by the 12 principles including: Accessible services, Best practices, Collaboration with families, Collaboration with others, Connection to natural supports, Functional outcomes, Independence, Most appropriate setting, Respect for the child and/or family's unique cultural heritage, services tailored to the family, stability, and timeliness.•In this role I facilitated Child Family Teams, medical, treatment and management teams in implementing agency policies and procedures, acquaints the agency with community trends, identifies gaps in services and works with special projects and committees to better meet the client’s needs. Identify, prioritize and record the family vision and goals via the Behavioral Health Service Plan, Safety Plan, and all other related clinical documentation.

In this role I prepared and wrote a Wells Fargo grant for Catholic Charities and participated in the writing of grants for Wal-Mart, and Banner Health.Created job readiness program and materials for that program as well as created a resume building & occupational career training program for the workforce development department. Participated in program planning and program evaluation, public policy and advocacy efforts.Provided direct service with clients in the form of direct group therapy sessions and one on one counseling.

The daily goals and objectives in this position were to always provide all employees, guests and fans of the Arizona Cardinals and University of Phoenix Stadium with the most pleasant experience possible by creating and maintaining an enjoyable and S.A.F.E. environment for events at the University of Phoenix Stadium such as Cardinals football games, NCAA games, special events, and concerts. My job takes me all over the country. I have worked a total of seven Super Bowls starting with Super Bowl 42 in Glendale, Arizona. Glendale, Arizona is my main work place location, My position with S.A.F.E. has taken me to different parts of the country for events such Super Bowl 45 in Dallas, Texas, Super Bowl 46 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Super Bowl 47 In New Orleans and also Super Bowl 48 in New York, New Jersey, back to Glendale for Super Bowl 49 and most recently, Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco.When working with NFL officials, S.A.F.E. employees, and arena guests, I communicate correct information while maintaining and promoting a professional image. My job is many things but the main priority of my job is to keep everyone I work with S.A.F.E. and that is what I do whenever I’m on site working events for S.A.F.E. Management.

As a Supervisor with America Reads / America Counts at Arizona State University and at Heard Elementary School site, I managed a team of twenty five ASU students that work one-on-one with academically at-risk children in the sixth through eighth grade range. The term "at-risk" describes children who live in low-income areas and are more likely to drop out of high school. This specific group is the first and only group of almost exclusively ELL (English Language Learners) students in this program.America Reads / America Counts tutors work with children in grades K – 8 and create fun, hands-on activities that meet the academic needs of the individual child, as well as assist with homework, reading aloud and journal-writing and other academically based activities.

I along with an amazing team of professionals from the Fashion World created, organized, and taught a Fashion Camp for children from the ages of six to sixteen. We taught them the basic skills needed to be in the Fashion World. The art of runway walking, style, make-up and designing but we also went into self confidence, self worth and setting your own personal boundaries in Fashion. For the last part of this amazing camp we went into the business side and event planning part of fashion, while we were teaching the student these skills we were building up to the last day of camp where the participants of the camp put together their very own fashion show. This was a great experience and one that was highlighted with support from Estrella Mountain Community College along with community member from all over the valley.

While being in the Business Retention Internship I studied business, science, information technology etc. I learned how to communicate with businesses and executed interviews with small businesses, healthcare providers, retail professionals, restaurants, and industrial employers. I was given the opportunity to talk to CEOs, managers, and other professionals in any given industry including city and state governments. This experience opened many doors for myself and other students in the program and this program give us an opportunity to gain real world experience with interviewing and interacting with top leaders in the state, while networking with some of Arizona's best and brightest.
