Serve as a top aide and advisor to Senator Hill, overseeing development of his legislative package, which consists of over 20 bills a year, and navigate it through the legislative process. Oversaw development of 18 new laws in 2015, 16 new laws in 2016, and 14 new laws in 2017. Staffed high profile legislation that made California the first state in the nation to regulate the use of antibiotics in livestock. In addition to legislative responsibilities, help develop media strategy, as well as compose speeches and talking points, and advise on a wide variety of political issues.

Developed and staffed a wide variety of legislation, including bills that improve antibiotic use in hospitals and that enhance the integrity of the state’s voting system.
