My career has been focused on substation and transmission line projects at the 69 kV- 161kV voltage level. The most recent projects that I have managed have been for autotransformer installations. This work has included preparing specifications for autotransformers, evaluating the autotransformer proposals, participating in the design review meetings, reviewing submittal drawings, factory site visits, and onsite support during the autotransformer installation. I have also managed 161 kV transmission line construction projects, including preparing specifications, technical reviews, and performing project manager responsibilities. Another core responsibility of my job is that I am the Reliability Subject Matter Expert for NERC Standard FAC-008-3, which requires me to be responsible for all of Southwestern Power Administration's equipment ratings, and coordinate facility rating changes with Southwest Power Pool and neighboring electric utilities. I am very eager to learn new things, and I would even accept the challenge of taking on a job in a different field than my past experience
