About Patrick Carmody

I am a 5th year PhD student in the Biochemistry Department at Indiana University. As a graduate student I have studied membrane protein misfolding, -1 ribosomal frameshifting in viral and eukaryotic contexts, and how these phenomena relate to disease, specifically cystic fibrosis. I have mastered techniques in molecular biology and eukaryotic cell culture and cell based assays. I have published a first author paper with two more currently in preparation.
