Intellione developed and acquired breakthrough, patent-protected technologies capable of locating every mobile phone within a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) network. Continuous monitoring cellular network traffic produced locations with high accuracy, ultra low cost and no network impact to the carrier. Additional capabilities included measuring speed and travel times for all roadways with mobile phone coverage and reporting traffic congestion as it happens. Responsible for all technical operations and software development activities required to deliver comprehensive, live road traffic information and high-demand location services for Mobile Network Operator (MNO) partners globally.

TerraGo Technologies is a software development company that offers map publishing and collaboration products which enable geospatial data to be shared quickly and easily beyond traditional GIS departments in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). In 2008, TerraGo Technologies was recognized by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia. Notable adopters of TerraGo Technologies software are the National Geospatial Agency (NGA), the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Topographical Engineering Center, the U.S. Geological Survey, FEMA and the U.S. Marine Corp. TerraGo Technologies has over 600 customers and over 1 million users have installed TerraGo Technologies MAP2PDF software. One of the founding executives of TerraGo Technologies. Provided vision and direction for product innovations within the MAP2PDF product line. Built and led a professional software development team and instituted key software development practices. Formulated technical strategy and drove delivery of core software products. Evaluated business opportunities and established relationships with industry partners Adobe, ESRI, Intergraph, Lieca Geosystems (ERDAS), i-Cubed, BAE Systems, Oracle Spatial and others. Spearheaded effort within the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) community to have the company’s technology accepted as an OGC Industry Best Practice.

Created company that leveraged open-source technologies and standard hardware to provide turn-key IT solutions for small businesses (10-50 employees). Profit margins exceeded 50% and clients enjoyed estimated cost savings of more than 40%. The solution offered a complete IT infrastructure that included Internet access, firewalling, intrusion detection, mail server, file server, web server, zoned networking, user authentication and remote management.

Virtuoso II – ALLTEL Corporation ALLTEL's Virtuoso II was a comprehensive and highly flexible client/server- based software system that provides customer support, service activation, inventory and billing functions. It was developed by ALLTEL for the wireless communications industry. ALLTEL received the International Engineering Consortium's InfoVision Award for Virtuoso II. Virtuoso II enabled Alltel to have over 60 Alltel Communication markets under one billing system. Alltel invested over $100M to bring Virtuoso II to market. * Senior client-server architect on Virtuoso II software development team which scaled to over 200 team members. Evaluated technologies and helped formulate strategic vision for the technical architecture. Developed coding guidelines and best practices for the software developers. * Managed the development of the inventory client/server sub-system. The inventory sub-system consisted of approximately 60 windows, 150 services and 20 asynchronous modules. Created project plan, tracked the delivery schedule, identified project issues and mitigated risks to ensure project milestones were met on schedule. * Created conceptual design for the Virtuoso II asynchronous architecture. Architecture was designed to be scalable and offered enterprise capabilities such as restart and recovery services. Provided quality assurance reviews during the architecture development process. * Conceptualized and led the development of the Virtuoso II real-time rating architecture. The real-time rating architecture received call records directly from the cellular switches and provided an extremely flexible and scalable flow of data through the various real-time rating application processes. The real-time rating system enabled key Virtuoso II functionality such as prepaid usage plans.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee Served as interim lead architect responsible for establishing architecture specifications, standards and guidelines for 200-person (100+k-manday) project to streamline healthcare claim processing and servicing representing approximately $140MM in annual benefits.

Account Materials and Procurement (AMPS) – Southern CompanyAMPS was a 20 man, 12 months project. The AMPS application was deployed to 5000 Southeren Company employees. The client/server architecture developed as part of the AMPS project was reused for subsequent Southern Company enterprise applications. Led the architecture development team - 4 senior software developers. Established the development environment, application development framework, coding guidelines, mainframe-Unix asynchronous architecture.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (MP&S) – Delta Air Lines Maintenance Planning and Scheduling - a client/server application that replaced a manual system for tracking the maintenance visits of the Delta Air Lines fleet. MP&S was part of a much larger project Maintence and Rebuild Control. MP&S had high visibility because it showcased many new technologies – UNIX workstations, XWindows/Motif and artificial intelligence. Designed and developed the expert system architecture. Identified performance bottlenecks and enhanced graphical architecture to achieve over 100x performance improvements. Developed and executed function test plans. Performed root cause analysis of problems identified during testing, scoped effort to resolve issues and supervised resolution.

Developed automated machinery designed to reduce labor cost associated with the handling, cutting and sewing of knit apparel. Designed and implement control software for the automated machinery. Received patent for "Method of Fabric Side Detection".
