I have worked on developing several professional web sites which I own and administer that give me close contacts at Microsoft, HP, AMD and Dell, my main site www.osnn.net currently has over 100,000 members and focuses on supporting operating systems and computing news, with a community that will talk about anything they feel like.I increased my professional knowledge by working very closely with Microsoft as an influencer and as a member of a small Windows featured communities group. This has given first-hand access to the next generation of operating systems, hardware and other common software applications. I have visited Redmond and Las Vegas at the request of Microsoft to provide user feedback to the Microsoft product managers themselves. I provided feedback on Windows 7 from early milestone builds through to its release in October 2009. With the changes of management, the same process was not done for Windows 8 through to 11, but I do check and provide feedback on the earliest builds when they are presented. The site is now quiet due to my decreased participation, but I keep the backend secure and up to date and fix things as I see issues.

As a post-sales engineer I was responsible for supporting customers, internal sales and partners with the entire product portfolio including proprietary products and solutions from Cisco, Microsoft and Adobe – mainly WebEx and Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 solutions.This involved providing leading technical discussions, creating high level architecture designs, presenting product technology, architecture and roadmaps to key decision makers and colleagues as well as receiving and understanding those updates from partners. For most customers I worked in hand in hand with their account manager as a single technical point of contact both during and after working with internal and external project implementation teams for any required proof-of-concepts, network assessments and product troubleshooting to ensure a smooth installation of new services.Our team would also handle product lifecycle and upgrades for all customers as required to keep them operational when end of life or critical security issues arose.---As a pre-sales Engineer I maintained my previous roles which ultimately saw me become a senior Sales Engineer, but started helping respond to technical questions and RFIs/RFPs from existing and new customers that often delved deep into customer requirements including security, protocols for APIs, SLAs, email/communication specifications as well as providing strategic guidance on why our forwarded solutions would be the best option.This also involved working closely with our commercial teams to determine the required bill of materials for various solutions and to work out the best options for the customer in terms of contract length discounts, or packages that would combine or enhance existing services sometimes at reduced cost with newer technology.

I worked within a team of advanced specialists providing secondary technical support via escalated customer support teams for our proprietary InterCall Unified Meeting, Cisco WebEx, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Office Live Meeting with their associated API access, along with their integration with the Reservation-less Plus conferencing system for PSTN audio integration.My main role was to provide Microsoft Office 365 support (including rotated on call), focusing on integration with our audio conferencing and increasingly the customers own existing network.I drove cases to resolution by working closely and testing with customers, internal teams and external vendors all in a professional manner, managing my active caseload with my increasing knowledge of Salesforce reports often going far beyond my job role which led to my change in team internally to work closer with large enterprise customers and the sales team.
