Coordinated all construction-related projects for 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Recruited members of Pi Kappa Phi for projects and assisted project participants with fundraising efforts. Reviewed applications, distributed and evaluated all grants and placements. Created and maintained relationships with organizations that serve people with disabilities to coordinate events. Created a new database for information on all grant recipients. Conducted three day orientation training on safety and logistics of the Build America program for the participants every summer. Developed and analyzed surveys to determine the effectiveness of Push America’s programs. Presented to undergraduates, alumni and volunteers at conferences about the programs of Push America and the abilities of people with disabilities. Worked with the Director of Communications on writing publications and recruiting materials. Coordinated logistics for the Build America team in the summer of 2009, which included projects, lodging, transportation, meals, and events. Wrote updates for the Risk Management Plan and the development of safety systems for all events.
