Eisai’s external manufacturing is responsible for maintaining consistent supply of pharmaceutical products to the commercial and marketing teams. Manage the supply chain activities of external vendors that produce products for Eisai. Manage the global supply chain for Aloxi, Targretin Caps, Targretin Gel and Panretin Gel in order to meet marketing demand which accounts for over 400M USD in annual sales with an annual spend of 150M USD. Launch team leader for new products. Ensure raw materials and commodities are available for pre-launch batches and lots. Support product throughout launch process and maintain product as product team leader once launch is completed. Maintain metrics/KPIs for each supplier and each product. Report metrics to management team and other brand team members. Conduct and lead quarterly supplier review meetings with suppliers and vendors in order to improve relationships, improve processes, report KPIs, etc Project Manager for multiple product brand teams. GSK Procurement maintains relationships with current suppliers, conducts market research, supplier research and trends within a given industry. Procurement evaluates each company on the basis of assurance of supply, quality, innovation, cost and service. Procurement is responsible for selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts that protect GSK’s interests, while maintaining a fair cost structure.  Manage over 25 million (USD) in spend for GSK third party contract manufacturing supply group. Secure third party packaging services for GSK developed products and in-license agreements. Lead negotiations of purchasing contracts for key suppliers while adhering to good manufacturing processes. Actively pursue cost savings and cost avoidance objectives while ensuring the appropriate level of quality, price, service and supply. Develop internal purchasing plans, source plans and policy improvements. Work with all areas of procurement to utilize web based procurement platform to gather market and supplier information as well as pricing information. Train and condition potential suppliers on how to effectively use GSK’s web based procurement systems. Manage supplier relationship, conduct quarterly supplier reviews to ensure suppliers are meeting predetermined KPI’s. Instituted tier 2 e-sourcing initiatives with current supplier base to explore opportunities to capture further cost savings by introducing e-sourcing at their supplier level.
